Me, Not Good? Who Said So?

Me, Not Good? Who Said So?

You and I are living in a day when many are asking, “What is Good?” The Word of God tells me that there is nothing created for mere show.

The aim of God in all His modes and works is the highest good to all His creatures. That includes you and me!

Me, not good? Who said so?

God made everything and when He did, He said it was good. Man was one of the things God created and He proclaimed him good.

Genesis 2:18 (NKJV) And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”

In the Midst of the Battle will you Stay with God?

mbl_selah1016
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8 (NLT)

Job had a relationship with God, his relationship with God was not connected to earthly things. Job served God out of the heart of faith; it was his faith which strengthened him when everything was destroyed or taken away. God is still God in the middle of our test.
It is so important for one has to make a choice before the test comes, to be faithful to the relationship to God, no matter the cost

Is there anything noteworthy in your life that would make you a threat to Satan? Job
was a man given to obeying and serving God. Yet God ask Satan have you considered
my servant Job? Why did God do that? God wanted Job to see it was not his possessions
that kept him stable, but his relationship to God. Now today you and I have Job as an example to follow, and we too can say as Job did:

Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. Job 13:15 (NKJV)

Will you determine like Job to follow God no matter what Satan, self, or the Savior
allows to come your way? Will you say as Job though Satan slays me I will stay in relationship with God Almighty, the author, and finisher of my faith! Job’s wife, his friends they all give him all the reasons he needed to curse God and die. Job stayed faithful to God to the end of his test! Job not only remains committed, but he is also rewarded f or doing so!

Job remained faithful to God as their relationship was not built on things of the world. Job’s relation with God was a relationship built on love and respect for who God was. I encourage you today to stand firm on the Word of God in times of test, trials or spiritual assaults. God will not leave you, nor
forsake you when you put your whole-hearted trust in Him. God will see you through for the praise of His glory and the building of His Kingdom.

In times of test, remember it’s an open book test , the Word of God will always lead you to victory. You will make it, not only will you make it, you will go through to pass the test. You will as Job did, will be rewarded too!

Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 (NKJV)

Will you as Job did, will you trust God in every circumstance, every battle, every victory to stay with you no matter what happens in the natural?

Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Nancy Lee and Jim Swarts

It is with a heavy but happy heart I share with you our sister in Christ went home to be with the Lord this past Tuesday at 9:55 PM. Nancy was a mighty woman of God she loved the Word of God, she loved to teach about Jesus and His goodness. Nancy was faithful servant with me for over 30 years.

She served with me at Naples Day and Naples Night Aglow, 1989-2001. She was at my side when I started Motivated by Love Ministries 2000 and then as we started Motivated by Love Encounters 2007 at the age of 78 she was my head intercessor, until just last May 2015.

Nancy’s eyes could light up a room with the sparkle of Jesus her smile made everything right and her love for others left an eternal life print on one’s soul. I am a better person because I had the opportunity to have Nancy and Jim Swarts as mentors and friends in my life here on earth.

Nancy’s lost Jim, her husband of over 50 years on June 30, 2016. Hugh Jameson, fondly called Jim by Nancy, his family and friends; was a kind man, and he was her silent knight. He loved to serve the Salvation Army, Harry Chapin Food Bank and pick up and then delivered Food to Immokalee for Bread of Life Ministries in the 1990′s. Each of them will be sorely missed, as the body of Christ has promoted two great warriors.

Are You Voting God’s Heart?

mbl_selah1016

Do you pray the heart of God?

Every Christian is called to pray. Many will say they have a gift of intercession, but the truth is we all need to pray 1 Timothy 2:1-2. Christians may not pray the same amount. some are given a greater desire than other, but all are called to pray. You’re an intercessor (every believer is called to pray), but you cannot do the intercession that He is doing for you. There is no physical way for you to do that. So, it is best that you let Him do his job, and you do yours, which is to 1) obey what He asks of you, 2) love the Lord your God with all your heart, and 3) love your neighbor as you love yourself.
Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him since He always lives to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25 (NKJV)fl-family-council
