The Power of Your Words

For, “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. 1 Peter 3:10

Words are powerful!! They can be a weapon for good and bad. Speak powerful God words over your life! Claim these things in the name of Jesus! There is power in the tongue. Your words are an example of whats in your heart. Words have been formed in our minds.

Where is your faith?? Your speech tells the truth about your attitude and your trust in God. What are you saying? Are you speaking as if you know and trust your heavenly Father? The Word of God formed everything we love and have today; Gods words created and produce power in our lives.

1) Faith words build up a Godly life and destroys Satan’s lies!!

rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. Col. 2:7

2) What we believe and say we receive!

22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

Believing comes by hearing, receiving comes by speaking.

So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11

3) Having a Christ like heart will produce righteous results.

You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. Matthew 12:34

A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. Luke 6:45

4 ) Murmuring will always cause delay!

You complained it your way! The Father listens and hears all words not just good ones but all words we speak!!

Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Phil. 2:14-15
